Can astrology help me understand my partner?

Yes! Most people are amazed just how much behavior and personality is predictable via astrology. Sure it shouldn't work, yet somehow it does.

This site is a mixture of articles (over 400) and visitor submitted questions and experiences. Perhaps read up on yourself, your partner or your relationship, and compare notes with those of other visitors.

As far as possible I try to avoid astrological jargon in my articles in order to make the information interesting to everyone. There are many excellent textbooks and websites which debate inconjuncts and sidereal charts if you prefer to study the technical aspects of the field. Speaking of which...

Synastry and astrology compatibility

The real name for this area within astrology is Synastry. Few people have heard of that however, and even fewer (including myself) can usually remember how to spell it. For practical purposes it usually goes by less formal names, such as compatible astrology.

If you see references to relationship astrology, love astrology, sexual astrology, astrology compatibility, compatible astrology signs, composite charts, chart comparison etc - don't worry, it's all the exact same thing.

How accurate is astrology?

Astrology is a complex field. There are hundreds of factors producing billions of permutations which make up someones natal chart, which is as unique as a fingerprint. (Your exact planet placements at the time of your birth will happen again, but it won't be for around 26,000 years!) Makes sense, as each person and relationship is of course unique.

No website or book can list each of these billions of combinations. However a good degree of accuracy is available by looking just at sun signs (also called your zodiac sign, or star sign). Everyone knows what those are, and it's fun to explore them.

Sun signs are just the tip of the iceberg however and one goal of this site is to encourage you to try an astrology reading at some point, and see for yourself the real accuracy which this fascinating field can offer.
