Pisces Sagittarius friends before sex

This Pisces girl has been dating a Sagittarius male for almost 4 months. We became intimate too soon as we had both waited to find someone worthwhile before indulging. Well, afterwards he said it was fun and I could tell he might have some intimacy issues (just divorced from a very long-term marriage though). The next morning he said he had anxiety about it - I almost bolted then and there. Then, because the physical connection was so magnetic we indulged several more times. Then he said he might date others just because he was just divorced and that he could not think straight because of the sex, so we did without for 2 weeks and tried to just hold hands and kiss. Well, he did not date or indulge with anyone else and he asked me to go to bed and things have been lusty ever since without anymore glitches. Now, we have declared ourselves exclusive, however, he says he is not sure if I am the love of his life. I am a Pisces girl and am pretty sure he is in love with me, yet holding me at arm's length emotionally. He calls everyday and is so sweet and we date about 5 times per week so the friendship, dancing & singing & romance are very good. He respects me and I finally met his best friend.

My point so far is that these guys love a friend first - I tried to make him wait, however, the chemistry is mind-blowing. Yet, as Pisces we need love before sex or we get frustrated! So, yes a difficult relationship - I think that it will be worth the heartache and pain when all the stuff is worked out or when he declares his love after many more months of dating...these guys do not show a lot of emotion and are tough to get a commitment out of. If he doesn't open his heart after several more months of dating, I know that I will run away...the love of my life is what I am looking for and my fairly deep feelings for him need to be reciprocated - he has a free pass until 1 year after his divorce because he is special enough to be a keeper.
