Virgo Man and Capricorn Woman

I'm a virgo man who has really strong feelings for this capricorn woman. We've been talking for a few months now and have gone on a couple of dates but haven't had any intimate moments yet. I've expressed my feelings to her, but she says she only wants to be friends. I can't seem to look the other way. Am I wasting my time with this or should I continue building the friendship in hopes that one day she'll come around?
