The good news is that there’s going to be a lot of sexual chemistry in an Aries Libra relationship. The bad news is that your preferred styles may need constant compromise to meet both your needs.

This article is in two halves, the first is written from the viewpoint of the Aries man or Aries woman, and the second is written from the viewpoint of the Libra man or Libra woman.

From the Aries viewpoint

You’re a man or woman of action, while your partner is a negotiator, planner and problem solver. This can make an excellent combination, but it probably won’t be quite as easy as it sounds.

The challenge you face is that you’re a much more independent person, whereas your Libra is far more likely to be a team player. You’re going to want to trample their ideas and take control of everything. Well, try not to!

Pick the battles which are important to you and don’t try to win them all just because you can. Your partner will look to you for a fair resolution and compromise. As compromise isn’t your strong point just decide in advance which life areas you’ll always agree and defer to them on. Don’t shrug this off, as they will see you as a dictator before you know it otherwise.

Communication

In this area, your Libra partner has you beat. He or she is very likely to be an excellent negotiator and will rarely if ever offend anyone without good reason.

By comparison, you can be blunt, direct, offensive and bossy. They will nearly always have something to say or an idea to share, and if they don’t then it’s likely because they fear you trampling it. Where possible always use a light touch when discussing something with your partner, and wherever possible force yourself to look for a compromise. Again, pick your battles; don’t try to win them all just because your Libra may feel like a pushover sometimes.

Each of you can learn a lot from the other. Your Libra could do with becoming more a little more intimidating sometimes, and who better to teach that than you?!

Aries Libra sex

The good news is that there’s going to be a lot of sexual chemistry in this relationship. No shortage of a spark here!

The bad news is that your preferred styles are almost opposite, and may need a fair amount of tuning and compromise. Your partner is more likely to prefer slower erotic sex, and really isnt the consistently spontaneous, fast and frantic type. Try to mix it up a little, and take the opportunity to let your partner bring out your romantic side.

Along those lines, try to avoid talking dirty during sex at the start of the relationship. While Libra's certainly aren't prudes, they do tend to prefer the classy and romantic courtship over anything too raunchy

Almost certainly you’ll be in charge in the bedroom, so keep in mind your Libra is likely to be running at speed 5, and you’re closer to speed 10. Slow down, and take the time to set the mood. Aim for a more sophisticated and refined approach and this partner will almost certainly appreciate it.

Things get more shaky in the longer term in this relationship. Your Libra likes peace and harmony, and may well come across to you as being lazy.

Libra is a thinker, and doesn’t share your need for constant action or adventure. They also often dosn’t like demanding people (er, and that can be you!) Meanwhile, they won’t pay you as much attention as your Aries ego might like.

In short there's a danger that in the long term your partner may find you a little demanding and tactless, and you’ll find them somewhat flighty, indecisive, and sometimes lacking ambition.

The key to making this work is to flip it around and learn to use each others strengths as a team, with specific roles, rather than focusing on each others weaknesses.

Your Libras strength is their ability to plan and analyze objectively, they're great at breaking problems down into easily solved pieces. They're also likely to be a master negotiator, especially with you backing them up. The main thing to avoid is getting frustrated or impatient and trampling your Libra in the process.

Libras are typically very loyal once committed to someone.

You’re going to have a lot of chemistry with your Aries partner. In many ways they are your opposite. That can lead to many good or bad things, depending on how you look at it, and how much each partner is willing to compromise.

It's likely there will be an above average level of friction in this relationship, but on the flip side it won’t be boring.

It's likely that your partner is a much more action orientated person than you are, but lacks your negotiation, patience and analytical skills. This can make for an excellent team.

In many ways your Aries will need to compromise more than you will to make this work, and frankly compromise isn’t always a strong point for them.

While you’ll admire your partners courage, tenacity and initiative, just how much you appreciate it will determine whether you find them smothering or exciting. For good or bad, this isn’t a person who’s afraid of taking risks.

Libra Aries Sex

The good news is that this wont be boring! This partner has an equal chance of totally offending you, or fulfilling your every fantasy.

Aries aren’t known for being subtle, timid, or easily offended so You can be as bold as you and your partner probably won’t bat an eyelid, or, you can let them do the chasing and they wont mind that either.

Aries are also notoriously competitive and playful, so use your great sense of humor to make fun of your partner a little and the sparks will nearly always fly. This is a combination where you’re very unlikely to offend, so let loose!

Communication

This area will likely frustrate you, as often Aries just doesn’t care much for social graces or reaching intellectual compromise, and worse will often go out of their way to disagree simply to enjoy the conflict or competition which may result!

Depending on how highly you prize the sexual side of your relationship this can be a very good thing, or a very bad one. Pick your battles carefully, as many will be artificial or illusionary. Let your Aries win the small ones.

If you can learn to communicate with actions rather than words it will pay dividends, no matter how unintuitive you will initially find it. Ditto, if you can master the art of making things appear to be their idea Aries will always be a very happy and willing participant.

Marriage

This will likely interest you more than it does your partner initially. Being tied down too early often scares Aries. If you're impatient then you’ll almost certainly need to make them think it was their idea if you want to talk them into it.

If you want to play dirty in this area then hint that you don’t really want to marry them. Imply they aren't good enough for you. Once Aries see's themself as the cat and you as the mouse they wont be able to resist giving chase.

Long term

The main risk in the long term is that your Aries lover will either smother you, or get bored with you, and do something spontaneous or reckless possibly just for the excitement of creating some chaos.

Your main weapon to avoid this is to be a little unpredictable occasionally. Keep your partner on their toes, and remember if you’re outside of your comfort zone to switch to actions, and not words. Aries often have a very high sex drive, and it's often a reliable way to distract them from almost anything.
