Capricorn and Capricorn (two partners, each with a Capricorn sun sign) is a combination which often gets bad press for being boring, but it can work very well in practice, often with soulmate potential.

Capricorn is a sign often misunderstood by other signs, so this combination works especially well if you've had partners who just didn't understand or accept you previously - this one will know where you're coming from, without any frustrating explanations.

You're both practical, ambitious and persevering. You both value and seek recognition for hard work, and both tend to be serious and practical, especially in public.

You both can be very reserved with strangers, and the hardest part of this relationship is often getting it off the ground initially.

After that it's typically very stable and long lasting, with both of you going to any length not to let the other down, and appreciating the same in return. Having a partner you can rely on is very important to both of you.

The main danger in this relationship is that you both tend to be 'work first' (or children, home, responsibilities first) and play second. You also tend to be pessimistic and stubborn, which can make for a tough situation.

This combination is sensitive to moon signs, and works best when you each have non-earth moons which are compatible with each other (the good news is that statistically that's fairly likely). A surprisingly volatile and spicy combination, with no shortage of chemistry. You're both very sensual, playful and adventurous in bed, and would make those who know you only by your reserved social side blush.

There is a risk of you both feeling a lack of emotional connection or intensity in the long term however, unless you consciously make room for regular romance within the relationship.

Overall this relationship has great potential, with relatively little effort!
