Capricorn inferiority complex?

I am a Capricorn female. I Must dissect this sentence for you and tell you everything that's wrong with it:

"Pessimistic by nature..."

Pessimistic? No. Realistic, yes. I won't dock you points for using another word, however. I know how the world sees it. I found it funny.

"they sometimes have inferiority complexes..."

I like how you use the word "sometimes" but there is definitely no inferiority complex that drives us. We are egotistical and perfect to ourselves. There may be always something to work on, but our drive to succeed lies not within a feeling of inadequacy. It lies in the idea we're the only ones with the cojones enough to do the job right. There are successful people in the world and somebody has to step up and be those people. We know we can do it so we strive to get there.

"and a fear of failure, which drives them so hard to both succeed..."

Fear of failure? No. That's wrong. We do not fear failure. We do not accept it.

"and stand on their own two feet doing so."

This has truth splattered all over it with bright red paint. If you can't do something yourself, it's not worth doing at all.

Hopefully this was enlightening to you. I know there are the exceptions to the rules but the "inferiority complex" part made me laugh.

The first thing I thought when I originally read the pessimistic part, etc. was hmm, I could see how others would perceive it that way. My reaction alone makes it more evident that because we are realistic we can see other's perception but does not mean we accept it, just like we do not accept failure, unless we we realistically know its impossible.

I agree with both posters. The pessimistic part is the reality. We are realistic people, however, as one poster stated, I can see other people would see it as being pessimistic or negative. I'm sorry, but the reality is the reality and you can't change it...it is what it is. I've been told that I can be a "wet blanket".
And I agree with the "not accepting failure" thing...I'm in no shape or form afraid of failing. I just don't want to.
