The Virgo woman appreciates and seeks perfection in all things, and a necessary step towards that is being somewhat critical. This usually applies doubly to herself and her own performance; she can be very self critical. Later in life she's likely to look much younger than she really is, this is a sign which ages well.

Analytical, discriminating, precise, considerate, punctual, and reliable, she will have an above average amount of common sense, and is likely to enjoy work of a technical or analytical nature, quite possibly working behind the scenes to ensure the efficiency of an organization, rather than taking center stage. The Virgo woman has a fantastic eye for detail and enjoys order, precision and efficiency in all things. She's particularly fond of routines and lists. She may even have a list of her lists!

Virgo is an intellectual sign, and this womans fast mind can find humor in most things, and often empathize with others more than her emotions alone would allow. She has a tendency to have trouble relaxing, needing to force herself not to think of things which can be improved, or critically analyze her recent performance of a task. She probably hates wasting time, or sitting idle.

She is likely to be fairly reserved and shy, and may be uncomfortable receiving too much attention, perhaps embarrassing easily. She will be a highly practical person, and will never display any irrational or emotional outbursts in public.

On the negative side, she can sometimes be seen as picky, aloof, sarcastic, depressed, pessimistic or whiny. She assumes everyone views her with the same critical eye that she posseses, which can sap her self confidence. Ironically, she is likely to be more perfect than most of us, yet she's the only one who can’t see it. This level of self imposed modesty can be particularly endearing.

The Virgo woman is a particularly loyal person, who gets much satisfaction from helping and caring for others. As in all things, she will analyze love and seek perfection. This is of course a difficult area to do either, and as a result she can be particularly hesitant and stand-offish until she's comfortable with a partner.

Virgos are often portrayed poorly in this area, directly or indirectly considered the least sexual of all the signs. While it’s true they dislike getting too emotional, vulgar or passionate, this is only because they tend to have a very tight ‘feedback’ loop running, to monitor and censor themselves constantly. Despite this they often place a very high value on the sexual side of a relationship. Don't make the mistake of assuming she's a prude!

If you have a particularly hesitant Virgo woman, then it's worth noting she may be more comfortable being asked to do something rather than initiating sexual acts herself. In these cases the ‘cleaner’ you can keep her conscience, the less inhibited she will be.

This is a women who takes feedback to heart, so it's worth noting that criticism can do a lot of harm, while encouragement can pay big dividends. Overall, Virgo women are often more comfortable with a confident lover.

Strong, stable and confident. Ideally comfortable with being fairly dominant at the start of the relationship, both socially and sexually.

Virgo women tend to be independent and free thinking, and appreciate the same in a partner. Conversation and intellectual connection tends to be very important to them. They tend to mesh well with a partner who appreciates their hardworking, down to earth style, and fast and clever mind.
